Hi, As briefly mentioned on IRC I've been looking into possible routes for Otavio, and note that travelling early, and leaving late may allow him to save a considerable amount of money on flights.
One potential route (assuming we can confirm with the Adria Airlines
that the connections are going to work for Otavio -- or at least that if
they don't work, they pay for his hotel etc.) is for him to fly:
GRU 14/07 16:50 --> 15/07 09:45 MUC, 14:10 --> 15:00 LJU 15:30 --> 16:15 BNX
Lufthansa Adria
but that's only 30 mins in LUJ, which is not enough, unless they're
willing to make guarantees, and perhaps hold the flight.
BNX 03/08 16:40 --> 17:25 LJU 18:30 --> 19:30 MUC 21:35 --> 04/08 GRU
Adria Lufthansa
again, there is only 1hr5min in LUJ, and if he misses that flight it's
going to make him miss the long-haul with Lufthansa, so perhaps this
route isn't viable anyway -- I'll see if I can get more info out of
Adria Air tomorrow.
Anyway, this is all moot if he's not going to be able to be accommodated
for dates outside DebConf/DebCamp, so perhaps we should decide if that's
OK first.
