Well. We are flexible, but we cannot be arbitrary flexible. We also need to stick to our plans, announcements and budget. And, we dont force anybody to come at any dates. We just offer to cover costs for people for certain dates, also known as debcamp and debconf. People _can_ come and leave when they want - it's just that they then might need to cover some costs themselves. Having to pay 1-200 nights more than expected is a non neglectable (and non calculatable) cost. So we need to draw lines and stick to them. > Matter for discussion could be more whether how we would do this, > manually or via penta. People would rely on us and then we revert the decision. Come on, thats bad. cheers, Holger
