But his thread showed that this is very unlikely. Let me express my opinion here: Before this thread happened, I had no idea who this person is. I actually still don't (I will google around after writing this email)....but Holger's forward of the conditions to have him as a speaker just made my mind : I think that this has nothing to do with DebConf. Whatever the topic is, whatever the experience this person has, he is not in the spirit of DebConf. At all. Even on special sponsored funds, indeed. Knowing that 25,000$ (plus probably about 10,000$ more for various expenses) have been wasted in this would just make me sick. Please don't do that.
