we can do food stamps $ 10 per day, if there are 250 people in Debconf 
can save $ 2,500 a day on food, I think everyone can pay $ 10 a day for 
food .We can take turns selling tickets and access control of the dining 
room

Also charge $ 5 for the shirt

Another idea is to accept donations as is done at FOSDEM
