Umh... Although most people won't recognize the colors of the Extremadura flag (or the flag itself ;-) ). Outside of Spain, most of us basically know that Debconf will be "in Spain". > The lion itself doesn't really have anything to do with Extremadura, > it is in Cáceres' coat of arms because Cáceres was a former city of > the Kingdom of León. > > I can give you some tips: acorn, stork, jamón, cherry, Torre de Bujaco, etc. I completely agree with your intention of having the DebConf9 logo represent your city/region - But to make it easier to understand for non-Spaniards, I'd have it with the Spanish flag colors (red/yellow/red - Valessio, where did the purple come from? :-) I can only relate it to the pre-1939 Spanish Republic), with icons relating to Extremadura and Cáceres. -- Gunnar Wolf - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - (+52-55)5623-0154 / 1451-2244 PGP key 1024D/8BB527AF 2001-10-23 Fingerprint: 0C79 D2D1 2C4E 9CE4 5973 F800 D80E F35A 8BB5 27AF _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list Debconf-team@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
