Hi, I just spoke to a good old friend who has a small recording studio - It's nice that Debconf motivates me to get back in touch with old friends :) I'm Cc:ing him.
Anyway... My friend cannot lend us much equipment, as he uses what he has on an everyday basis - But he offered something that might be enough for the smaller room: A condenser-based good quality enviroment microphone. This microphone uses phantom power, so we would need a suitable console. Note that I reproduced the above paragraph from what he told me on the phone, more or less in the same way a Walmart employee would reproduce the characteristics of a PC ;-) So I might have mis-copied some terms. Now, the question is for you video guys: Do you think we could use those microphones? [ Daniel: The URL I was referring you to with last year's work is http://dc5video.debian.net/ - It is just a redirect for http://meetings-archive.debian.net/pub/debian-meetings/2005/debconf5/ ] Greetings, -- Gunnar Wolf - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - (+52-55)5623-0154 / 1451-2244 PGP key 1024D/8BB527AF 2001-10-23 Fingerprint: 0C79 D2D1 2C4E 9CE4 5973 F800 D80E F35A 8BB5 27AF
