And then there are people who usually are OK with having their picture
taken, but at any given time decide that they just don't feel like it
right now.
If, for whatever reason, someone doesn't want to be photographed one of
the days of the conference, it would be nice for them to be able to make
that preference clear, whether it means donning a different lanyard or
just sitting in a marked-off section of the room, without having to
either (a) avoid the entire conference or (b) explain their preference
to anyone.
