Hi there!

Please note that DebConf, while different, is another Debian event [1],
thus the Events team should be notified of such merchandising stuff, at
least to avoid duplicate efforts like in recent events.

Some of the debian.ch merchandise [2] will be there, at least Debian
SpaceFun/squeeze T-Shirts, foilstickers and white umbrellas [3]. For
the anarchism T-Shirts, I was planning to ask for a Credativ shipment,
instead, because our stock is mostly finished and also because given
that I am travelling by motorcycle [4] I will not have any extra space
for merchandising.

[3] there was a problem in the production of black umbrellas, so, while
we planned to have them for DebConf, unfortunately they will not

For the Swiss Army knife we discussed at DebConf10 [5] and I announced
early this year [6], debian.ch finally took contact with Victorinox:
again, it would be very difficult to have them at DebConf11.

As a general policy similar to the umbrellas at DebConf10 [7], while the
basic rule is "first arrived, first served", I always prefer to give
precedence to people living far away from the "production" site, mostly
because shipping costs are usually higher for these countries.
Obviously, this is in no way mandatory (even for myself).
