While I'm in "interesting things on campus" mode, check out the lecture 
hall in Havemeyer (the building that C&W was in).  Go in the front door, 
turn right for a bit, and one of the entrances is on your left near the 
exhibit of chemistry memorabilia.  The room is 309 IIRC.

I had read about that on the plaque on the wall on my way in to the C&W. 
  It's a neat old century-old design.

I had tried to look around in there yesterday, but it was occupied.  It 
was empty this morning though.

this room has appeared in.  When I walked in, I recognized it from one 
of them instantly, in fact.  It's also a National Historic Chemical 
Landmark.
