Dear all, the debconf press team needs your help simply because we are running out of time. What we urgently need right now are contact phone numbers and email addresses of media local to Edinburgh. I thought I would be able to do most of this this afternoon, but real life came up and is now actually threatening my departure to Debcamp tomorrow, so I won't be able to do it today or tomorrow.
Unfortunately, time doesn't wait. If you have a bit of time, it would be nice if you could help out and research on the web a bit. I've added some links with lists of media to http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf7/Press this is non-exhaustive, so feel free to add more. It would be nice if you could pick a newspaper or media organisation, note so on the wiki, then dig. If you get the information we need, please send it to me via email. try to find contacts at the media who are as close to the IT sector as possible. Then lather, rinse, repeat. Thanks a lot. We really need to get going.
