Hi, After reading the answers so far, I also agree with Kevin's comment - Keith, your conference does not look like the kind of work expected for Debian Day. In fact, Debian Day is separate from Debconf, it just happens during a close time and at the same venue (taking advantage at the fact that you have many Debian people gathered together). Your talk looks much more interesting towards people who are _involved_ in Debian - And they usually don't even show up for Debian Day except to check it out, give a talk, look who is around there. We have had two Debian Days so far, one in Finland [1] and one in Mexico [2]. You can see the schedule for Finland's edition in that page. In fact, for Mexico's edition, it's only available in Spanish [3]. I guess you can understand our point by looking at the talks presented there. I hope you can present your talk, even if not formally scheduled (as a BoF or something like that), during Debconf itself. The right people will be there :) [1] http://debconf5.debconf.org/about/debianday.html [2] http://debconf6.debconf.org/debianday/index.html [3] http://es.debconf.org/debianday/schedule/ -- Gunnar Wolf - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - (+52-55)5623-0154 / 1451-2244 PGP key 1024D/8BB527AF 2001-10-23 Fingerprint: 0C79 D2D1 2C4E 9CE4 5973 F800 D80E F35A 8BB5 27AF _______________________________________________ Debconf-discuss mailing list Debconf-discuss@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-discuss
