Peng, it is hard to tell what is going wrong with just that little information. What did you actually try to enable HDF5 in deal.II? Did you configure deal.II via $ cmake -DDEAL_II_WITH_HDF5=ON -DHDF5_DIR=/path/to/hdf5_dir deal_II_source_dir ? If so, what is the output you get? Can you show us your detailed.log (in the build directory)?
