By patch vertices you mean the nodes of each element, hence DataPostprocessor gives me the gradients with respect to the mapped gauss points to the nodes of each element? And standard FEValues gives me the gradients with respect to the mapped physical coordinates. Isn't this somehow the same or where is the key difference here? Sorry for being stupid right now ^^'
