Matthias has done an incredible amount of work rewriting the
configuration system, often late into the night based on the times when
many of his patches were committed.
But him joining also happened around a time when the number of people
contributing to the project grew significantly. Timo had made a graph a
while back showing the number of individuals contributing patches in any
given month, and it also showed a marked increase starting around that
time. The whole project has been growing in recent years, and I'm
excited about that!
