Daniel, Since in the *FEValuesViews::Vector< dim, spacedim > Class *there isn't any *shape_grad_component *function, I am not sure that I can update the *get_strain* as I mentioned. I was wondering if you have already written a code for a thermoelastic problem in dealii, solving heat equation and elastic equation separately.
