suppress_duplicates is *not* what you need.

dbmail *never* stores separate copies of emails, not even when ou copy
messages around.

it *does* store references to identical messages (dbmail_messages) or to
identical mime-parts (dbmail_partlists).

so: nothng to worry about - probably.
