Thanks for the information everyone. Since I'm running dbmail 3.1.7, should I upgrade to the latest version? Is that fix for the 'envelope sender' problem included in the newest release?
Also, if I deleted a lot of the emails out of the database, approximately half, will dbmail/MySQL reuse the space created by the erased messages or just keep expanding? -----Original Message----- From: dbmail-boun...@dbmail.org [mailto:dbmail-boun...@dbmail.org] On Behalf Of Alan Hodgson Sent: Tuesday, January 21, 2014 10:53 AM To: dbmail@dbmail.org Subject: Re: [Dbmail] Dbmail-util functionality problems On Tuesday, January 21, 2014 03:46:55 PM Gray, Patrick wrote: > Is there any way to see how much space will be freed before migrating > to file-per-table mode? > You could find the minimum space your message store needs by backing up and restoring into an empty database on another machine. Assuming you have the ability to take backups of RDS (never used it). _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail@dbmail.org http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail@dbmail.org http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
