??Why?? Dbmail's focus is aimed at email storage and retrieval. Delivery
is a mainly local-delivery. External delivery up until now has just been
a side effect of local delivery (forward/bounce/auto-replies).

There are some really great packages for mailinglist handling. Mailman
is one. Smartlist and Sympa are others. The problem domain - though well
understood by now - is far from trivial.

So: doing something like this would require a major effort. It's not on
*my* list of things, and it won't be unless someone asks me properly ($$).
