Can anyone help a newby with an issue I have? My installation is Fedora Core 4 and Sendmail 8.13. I am unable to receive mails for any of the users that are held in the MySQL database, I get the error message 'user unknown'. I am guessing this is due to the user details being stored in the database and not in local files for Sendmail so Sendmail is unaware of the accounts. Do I have to map the user mail accounts held in the database for Sendmail to be able to receive mail for them? possibly in the 'Address Mappings' config of Sendmail.? Google searching for help on this is not returning anything to help solve this....
