How about:

cat testemail.txt |/usr/local/bin/autoreplier.py  -u [EMAIL PROTECTED] -a
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

It should raise errors if there's a critical problem.

Check your syslog for activity on the smtp side (sending the autoreply). And
check your /var/cache/dbmail for cache files appearing.

/var/cache/dbmail/[EMAIL PROTECTED] in this case. But then, those are only
created if sending the reply is succesful.
