In DBMA (http://dbma.ca) you create two aliases for the account (from the
Modify User Account Window) and forward one to the external address.
Or manually this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ==> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ==> (user_idnr)
best...

Subject: [Dbmail] Forward and retain the message.
I have an issue that some users of mine used to do an option of
forwarding their Email, and also retaining a copy in their mailbox.
I'm wondering how to accomplish this in dbmail. Maybe it's really
simple, but it's eluding me.
dbmail_aliases
+-------------------+------------------------+
| alias | deliver_to |
+-------------------+------------------------+
| [EMAIL PROTECTED] | [EMAIL PROTECTED] |
| [EMAIL PROTECTED] | [EMAIL PROTECTED] (??) |
+-------------------+------------------------+
It seems like this wouldn't accomplish what I want, but maybe it does.
Is this the "right way" to do it, or should maybe I used the user_idnr
of the box to deliver_to?
I'm trying to avoid setting up a mail loop and blowing up the server.
TIA
