I have been using dbmail and Horde/IMP for quite a while. I have a group of users I support that I was getting ready to grant them email access. At the time I was about to do this I got my daughter to help me evaluate my process so she could provide feedback. At this time I also started to use dbadmin to adminisiter remotely. I created an account for a user in the group and started creating docs for the users, and then my daughter alerted me that she could no longer see her emails. The new user reported the same thing. I could see mine just fine. We later found that my daughter also could not see any of her contacts, until she did a search for one, then they all appeared. I found that I could get to both of these accounts with a different IMAP client, I used pine, and could see all the emails. Also dbadmin can see the emails. Since this time, and still not able to get the dbmail and Horde/IMP combo to work, I have switched over to using courier/mbox and sqwebmail. I will continue to use this until I can find out what the problem is. I have refused to go back to using other php webmail solutions at this time due to the problems I have had with some of them. squirrelmail was good for a while until I noticed there were emails in dbmail that squirrelmail was not displaying (could see them with other IMAP clients), phpgroupware is way slow and has a problem with an increasing size of mailboxes (the cache requirement keeps increasing), don't remember why I didn't like egroupware but oh well... I think at the time I had also upgraded to 2.0.3 but didn't think there was any problem because I could still see mail with my account (and I still can). If anyone finds out what has happened with this combo I'd be tempted to switch back (but for now courier and sqwebmail is very fast).

Hi list,
I've got a strange problem here with Horde/IMP. I was running CyrusIMAP
until a few weeks ago, and anything worked fine. But after I switched to
DBmail as IMAP server, I can't get any messages through Horde/IMP. I can
see the folder hierarchie of the logged in account, but selecting an
IMAP folder just shows me "There are no messages in this mailbox.". On
the other side IMP shows the count of new messages in INBOX in the
navigation. As mentioned, anything worked fine with CyrusIMAP as IMAP
server.
Authenticating through the IMAP server also works without any problems
with DBmail.
I also upgraded to latest versions, but there no change in behavior.
Current installed versions are:
Horde 3.0.3
IMP H3 4.0.2
My current config of IMP:
$servers['imap'] = array(
    'name' => 'MY IMAPHOST',
    'server' => 'MY IMAPSERVER',
    'hordeauth' => true,
    'protocol' => 'imap/notls',
    'port' => 143,
    'folders' => '',
    'namespace' => '',
    'maildomain' => 'MY MAILDOMAIN',
    'smtphost' => 'MY SMTPHOST',
    'smtpport' => 25,
    'realm' => '',
    'preferred' => '',
    'hierarchies' => array()
); Anyone got a hint what's the problem here? Thanks in advance for your help, Marco Genise.
