Hi All.... Its Friday night and I have to reinstall the mail server...
Basicly I have the following currently.. Postfix / Dbmail 1 / Postgresql / Amavisd / on our mail server... I have 700000 odd users with mail boxes ranging from 0 - 500 mb
We are using the server not only as a mail storage system, but also as our digital storage system, wich in turn allows us to run a paperless environment.. all docs stored in pdf format..
I am looking for sugestions.. any.. before I start.. that could help me to reach the ultimate mail server.. The machine is a dual xeon 2.4 gig's with 1 gig ram... and a couple of hundred gigs of storage.. dual 1000 nics..
anny suggestions are welcome.. from spam filtering (wich I do get a lot of) to general tips to just make everything
smoother.. any snags I must look at... anyhting.. Kind Regards.. Dirk..
