cat $USER.mbx | formail -e -f -s /opt/dbmail2/sbin/dbmail-smtp -u $USER

Course you need to install formail.

p.s. those are the flags that I used to properly parse whatever weirdo format mailboxes SLmail uses. I beleive their mbx...You might need different flags...I'd suggest using a smaller .mbx file and a test dbmail user untill you're sure the flags will work right...
