Hello All, I am willing to install dbmail, firstly on a test machine, and then on a dedicated server for production. I am a complete email newbie, but I learn fast.
I have some questions before starting: 1) Is 2.0 RC8 stable enough or I should go for 1.2.10 ? 2) Which MTA would be the easiest to install and configure with dbmail? 3) What else do I need to install to activate the IMAP service, apart from a db (mysql in my case) and an MTA ? 4) What is a good introductory book (printed or online) to mail server administration? I will later want to add virus and spam detection, but I guess it's enough for now... I'll be back ;) Thank you in advance, Alessandro Magnolo
