This sounds like a good thing though, no? Sounds like it could nip a lot
of invalid mail (spam) in the bud and save some resources. Or would the
gain be negligible?

That is what I thought, too. I compiled it this way first and ended up
with the same result (mail.log errors)...

I will just skip this part for now. I'm ready to start playing with DBMail!
