You cannot use Sieve yet. Aaron Stone is working on this.

ACL:
Many clients are able to check for ACL's. But I have not used any mail clients that are able to set ACL's. Perhaps Mulberry?

When going from non-acl to acl supported DBMail you do not have to set acl's for the users' mailboxes. A user automatically gets all rights to a mailbox if he/she is the owner of that mailbox.
