Hi All,

you can find DBMail 2.0 release candidate 1 on the download page of www.dbmail.org.

For people wanting to migrate from 1.x: There is now migration script yet for moving all mailboxes. There is a script though that will move the mailbox (with messages of course) of one user to dbmail 2.0 RC1.
You need two seperate databases for this. The script can be found in
the sql/ directory.

This release adds (among others)
* speed. The physmessage structure makes IMAP COPY's much faster
* IMAP ACL
* IMAP Namespace
* an LMTP daemon. Using this, the communication between your MTA and DBMail can be a lot faster than when using dbmail-smtp (thanks to Aaron Stone for this)

This is still a testing release. Please test it at your site (I'm running DBMail 2.0 in parallel with 1.2.3 here at IC & S) and let's squash the bugs turn up.

If you've followed DBMail 2.0 development, and know that a certain feature you want is not in it: DBMail 2.1 (and onwards) will be used for new features :) .
