[Dbmail] delete, draft and backup a message

hi all

my webmail client seems to launch shortly but a few issues have to be 
solved.

how does dbmail delete a message?
is it correct that dbmail sets the deleted_flag to 1 to the original 
message, copy it and moves it into trash?

how does dbmail generate draft messages?

how does dbmail move the sent mails to SENT?

what if there are no folders like "drafts", "sent", "inbox"?
