Hello dbmail, If the list isn't going to go back to "subscriber postings only", please at least implement the spam filters on Postfix. At least two of the last three spams sent through the reflector would have been blocked by filtering against bl.spamcop.net, and the other would have tripped on relays.ordb.org.
This latest one tripped on two separate proxy filters, too! Don't be surprised if messages start bouncing, because many of them also trip content filters.... The following maps_rbl_domains lines are rather conservative. Less than half the spam our system bounces are a direct result of these lists, although almost all of the source IPs show up on SOMEONE's list. maps_rbl_domains = relays.ordb.org proxies.relays.monkeys.com opm.blitzed.org bl.spamcop.net smtpd_sender_restrictions = permit_mynetworks reject_maps_rbl --- At least one subscriber to this list is on several of the anti-spam lists; try this link, which covers http://openrbl.org/lookup.php?b=Lookup&i=196.40.3.209 "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" will be trying to send me a bounce message of some sort, as a result of this posting, but it will be refused, because they're within a net block that has sent a lot of spam to our users... as well as the world. -- Most humans strive to make a difference in this world... I'd much prefer to make a SUM! Jeff mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
