I didn't realize that my auto-mailboxes patch would be useful for so many
other things... neat! Perhaps a more official request to include it is in
order? Are there reasons why someone might prefer *not* to have mailbox
autocreation? IIRC, I left an if(1) in the code to be replaced with just
such a config option or flag :-)
