Hello, I have just setup dbmail for the first time. I am running the 1.1 release with postgresql as the backend.
When I first set it up, performance was horrible, I was using evolution to move messages from my UoW imap server to dbmail-imap and It would move about 1 message per second (messages were only about 1k each). I knocked down the TRACE settings in the dbmail.conf file, and now things are much better, still not as good as I had hoped for, but probably acceptable. Why are the TRACE settings are defaulted so high? So high the performance is significantly degraded by them. Especially for a stable release. I could understand keeping the settings high in CVS, but not in a release. Thanks Matthew T. O'Connor
