Hi Armin,

One thing is for sure, the first messageblk of a message is _always_ the header. Large messages can consist of multiple blocks. DBmail does a query for all messageblks that belong to a message ordered by messageblk_idnr. Consequently the first block is always the header.

Best regards,

Eelco

hi

i'm currently working on a webmail interface in jawmail style for dbmail (without imap). i know that there still exists one - i write the second.

i figured out that every message has 2 record sets in "messages". one is for the header, the other one is the message itself. but how can i teach my webmail client which row is for what? i have been trying to order by the messages_idnr and define, that the first is the header and the second row is the mail but i dont know if theres a better way.

any ideas?

best regards, armin.
