Hello shon,

s> awesome! why isn't this kind of stuff documented anywhere? or is it
s> and i just missed it?

One of the problems with active development is that documentation is
usually left in the dust... In the case of dbmail, there is a lot of
implementation-specific stuff that has appeared on the mail list over
the last year and a half that hasn't made it to the official manual.

I have a longer description of how to get dbmail and Postfix working
that I've posted here from time to time. However, it's no longer 100%
accurate. In particular, it does not address Postgres compatibility,
and the most recent change to dbmail using the dbmail.conf file
instead of the configuration table in the database.

I should update it and repost it, but the reason it hasn't been
updated is that I haven't been tracking the CVS version of dbmail for
over a year... What I have works for what we're doing, and several of
the changes made to add Postgres support were more disruptive than I
wanted to deal with at the time.

As I get a new mail server built "real soon now", I'm going back and
working with the current dbmail, as well as Postfix 2.x, so I should
have something next month. Then, we just need to get it added to the
documentation! B-)
