Hi,
We previously made some modifications to dbmail-smtp to allow it to digest
incoming dates in the e-mail headers. This was activated by an options. In a
normal e-mail setup the dates are assigned by the smtp server so shouldn't
dbmail always digest the dates in the header. And more importantly the
routine that put's e-mails into the database, shouldn't that always parse
the dates so that when you move items between folders they don't get marked
as now? I was going to make those changes and send them on, but wasn¹t sure
if this is the right way to look at dates. At the same time I would like to
put the timezone into the dates coming back from dbmail, so that a server in
another timezone would show the right received dates in my e-mail client.
Thanks,
Andy
