OK I fixed it, I just set the date as below. Now the most recent emails are at the highest page number.
update messages set internal_date = '2002-12-31 01:01:01' where message_idnr = 1028 between 1677 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Greg Smythe Network Support Specialist Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Greg Smythe Sent: Friday, January 10, 2003 10:34 AM To: dbmail@dbmail.org Subject: RE: FW: [Dbmail] Odd problem: Date is stuck OK more info.. I found my recent messages starting on an earlier page in the web interface. It seems as if the sorting is messed up, the message id goes from 6181 to 1027 for the next message. It is sorting all of the 12/31/2002 messages after today's, but the date on them is 12/31/2003! The internal date is wrong.. I'll try updating the internal_date field in the 'messages' table. I'm not all that familiar with SQL so I'll go research how to do this and get back to the list if it works (or if I totally mess up the db). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Greg Smythe Network Support Specialist Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Greg Smythe Sent: Wednesday, January 08, 2003 10:28 AM To: dbmail@dbmail.org Subject: RE: FW: [Dbmail] Odd problem: Date is stuck I'm using 1.0 -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Greg Smythe Network Support Specialist Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Aaron Stone Sent: Tuesday, January 07, 2003 4:14 PM To: dbmail@dbmail.org Subject: Re: FW: [Dbmail] Odd problem: Date is stuck I see this also on my rc3 installation. I received four messages just before New Year's, and each became set for 12/31/2003 rather than 12/31/2002. My suspicion is that the GMT for those messages was in 2003, since California's Pacific time is -7 hours from GMT, but that the year was not recalculated during any conversion to/from local time/GMT time. Are you on 1.0 or a new CVS snap? It would be good to know which versions of DBMail are affected by this bug...
