TRACE is already at 5, that's all it's outputting, not much :)
As several people have pointed out, I should try getting a core dump
from pop3d, I'll get around to recompiling and trying that as soon as
I can, but it may not be soon.  This is a non-critical test system, just
trying DBMAIl so there's no real hurry on my end.

If you commit changes that may affect this to CVS, I will give that a 
shot at some point and let you know if it fixes the prob.
