Hello -- Just go DBMail up and running,, almost. After struggling with sendmail I've hit a new roadblock. When I send a message to the DBM system it complains it can't find it's config file, which is in /etc per the install instructions:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# ls -l dbmail.conf -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1965 Dec 23 11:31 dbmail.conf If I call dbmail-smtp manually it finds the config file fne. Here is the maillog output: Dec 23 14:52:29 www sendmail[5395]: gBNJqTT05395: from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, size=285, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, proto=ESMTP, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Dec 23 14:52:29 www dbmail/smtp[5397]: ReadConfig(): starting procedure Dec 23 14:52:29 www dbmail/smtp[5397]: ReadConfig(): could not open config file [dbmail.conf] Dec 23 14:52:29 www sendmail[5396]: gBNJqTT05395: [EMAIL PROTECTED], ctladdr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (0/0), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=DBM, pri=30026, relay=www.internal.alnm.com, dsn=4.0.0, stat=Deferred: DBM mailer (/usr/local/sbin/dbmail-smtp) exited with EX_TEMPFAIL The brackets around dbmail.conf in the logfile makes me think it's looking for the config in the same directory as the binary, but I put the config there and it still errors out. Any ideas? Thanks, -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Greg Smythe Network Support Specialist Ayres, Lewis, Norris & May
