My eyes are getting too tired to look any further for this, so I'll
ask here.

I'd like Postfix to be able to make use of the dbmail aliases table to
decide whether to accept or reject mail, so that it will know that,
for example, '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' (an address now showing up in a LOT of
FORMMAIL spam attempting to get into our system), doesn't exist here,
so it can simply bounce it, rather than passing it to dbmail to
bounce.

[This is because the return addresses are almost always bogus, so any
bounce that occurs after the mail is accepted by the server from the
spammer is considered "successfully delivered", so that address goes
onto the "sell to other twits" list, to appear on the next "250
million FRESH email addresses" CD...]

I've seen how to get Postfix to use SQL tables for aliases, virtual
address mappings, etc., but nothing that says how to use it to
validate an address, yet hand it over to an alternate transport (like
dbmail) for ultimate delivery, as specified in the transport table.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks!
