This kind of sounds like a memory leak. You can solve it by setting the suicide interval lower. That way a child will commit suicide and all memory will be freed. This is an important thing to look at though, 30-40 mb after 5 days is a lot.

Hi Kostas,

What version are you running? RC3 is known to have memory issues, these
should have been solved in the CVS version.
