Certain clients (Outlook is a good example) do not delete messages until ALL messages are received, so an error with a later message will cause all earlier messages to be left marked as unread as well. Other clients (The Bat!, for example) kill each message as it is retrieved, so only the "bad" message will stay unread. -- Best regards, Jeff mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
