Just updated my CVS ( I have a SuSE 8.0 server at home). I am at work, using Mail.app 1.1 (v481/482). I can connect to my home email (running dbmail) just fine.

Mail.app is picky and weird sometimes. So is Mozilla (1.0 seems to work, but is always having SMTP problems).

But the fact that I read your message in Mail.app, using an imap connection to my dbmail account at home sort of made me think your problem is not dbmail, but Mail.app.

Thanks, and good luck!

Using CVS as of this afternoon (Jul-11), built on debian woody, 2.4 kernel, and the latest version of Mail.app. Test messages show up in the list, but no message content is seen in the imap client, only headers. This is consistent on two client machines. It doesn't seem to be related to message length, as a one liner shows the same as a 200 liner.

(in addition while trying to check things, I found that for some reason Mozilla 1.1 refuses to connect and check mail, but I have no indication that a tcp connection is built, so that's not necessarily a dbmail problem)

Looking at a tcpflow dump of the conversation, it appears that the body is being sent back on the connection. I'm not familiar enough with imap to know where the problem is.

Attached is a level 5 log of viewing a message, along with the tcpflow dump of the conversation.
