We are looking for a Senior .Net Web Developer for one of my Clients *Title:*Senior .Net Web Developer *Location:* Columbus, OH *Duration:* 6 Months + *Start date:* Immediate THIS POSITION WILL HAVE A START DATE OF JUNE 2010. Ideal candidate will be finishing a project up in the next month to a month and a half *Mandatory and Preferred Requirements:* Eight (8) years total Information Technology (IT) programming experience in web development using Microsoft .NET technologies. Five (5) years experience as a Senior .Net Web Developer. Five (5) years .Net experience utilizing C# and VB.Net. Five (5) years experience with SQL Server Database Design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. Three (3) years experience working directly with end-users to define requirements and provide technical advice and assistance in a large-scale environment. Two (2) years experience with Web Development using Microsoft .NET technologies with Visual Studio 2005 or later version. Two (2) years Data Conversion experience to SQL Server. One (1) year Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). One (1) year experience creating and processing Extensible Markup Language (XML) files. Six (6) months SQL Server 2008 Reporting experience. *Furthermore, it is preferred, but not required the candidate have one or more of the following qualifications: * One (1) year experience developing C# .NET web projects in VS 2008. A demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to deployment. A demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies and recovery using Visual Source Safe or Team Foundation Server (preferred). A demonstrable understanding of the new features introduced with the release of Visual Studio 2008 (VS 2008). Experience converting legacy databases to SQL Server 2008. Understanding of how to automate processes using SSIS. The proposed resources must demonstrate the following requirements in order to be eligible for further consideration: The ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. Excellent oral and written skills and possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. A strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and user requirements. Excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
