System functional design, technical design, and programming experience with
a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS). Strong
understanding of SACWIS functionality. Knowledgeable of data structures and
data relationships within SACWIS application systems. Understanding of
federal reporting for child welfare including AFCARS and NCANDS.
Knowledgeable of federal grants including IV-A and IV-E specifications and
eligibility determination. Strong understanding of child welfare business.
Expertise with full software development life cycle including software
system analysis, functional design, technical design, development, testing,
and production system support.
Software design and development expertise with n-tier application system
architecture including use of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft SQL
Server, Oracle RDBMS 10g, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and CA
ERwin Data Modeler technologies.
Experience with software design and development in Microsoft SQL Server and
Oracle 10g database environments with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET including
C#, ASP.NET, and XML web services. Experience using IBM Rational ClearCase
for system source control and configuration management. Experience using
Microsoft TFS for system source control and configuration management.
Knowledgeable of software design, development, and maintenance in Oracle and
Microsoft SQL Server database environments using SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL for
stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Proficient with SQL Server
Management Studio, TOAD, and Oracle SQL Developer for developing and
maintaining software. Experience performing data analysis and data design.
Expertise with CA ERwin Data Modeler technologies. Performance tuning of
SQL Server and Oracle database procedures and functions.
Experienced in providing production system support and solving daily
production issues for SACWIS environment.
