Job Title : Oracle DBA Duration : 2 Yrs of Contract Location : Baltimore, MD Max Rate : $60/hr *Oracle DBA Environment with Cognos experience.* This is to support the longitudinal data system development activities that we will be doing over the next 24 months. The environment is a Dell environment, multi-processor with a stand. It’s a Windows operating system. Using Oracle 10G, 11G database, Cognos, CAVI 8.4.1. These are the main tools. DBA needs to understand we’ll be both a database administrators reading and maintaining existing databases as well as part-time being an application manager making sure that set-ups are appropriate, connect rings are appropriate, securities are appropriate. So therefore, they’ll need to have a broad brush of not just DBA activities but also some of the application administration activities for Cognos and for a couple of the other applications that we’ll implement. *The following minimum qualifications are mandatory:* Data warehousing design and development knowledge Informatica 8.x Oracle 9i or greater Administration COGNOS Window 2008 OS Erwin SQL and PL/SQL programming ERD and dimensional data modeling techniques *The following qualifications are highly desirable:* Oracle RAC, OAS, Portal Knowledge of SAN data architectures for Oracle database partitioned and not partitioned.
