REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 10 years of IT experience. Sr. Data Architect who has experience leading teams and has experience defining database architecture; designs logical and physical data models using entity relationship and/or dimensional modeling tools. Works closely with customers, vendors, business analysts and application development project teams in order to resolve information flow and content issues. Develops database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments. Analyzes the business requirements of the user community and designs logical and physical data models using entity relationship and/or dimensional modeling tools. Expert in data management, database management systems, logical data modeling, physical database development. Understands the principles, theories, practices and techniques of project management. Understands complex business issues that cross multiple functions they support. Works on multiple projects as a project leader, or as the subject matter expert. Defines and plans database architectures for enterprise systems. Minimum of 10 years IT experience, including hands-on development experience in a Microsoft development environment. Thorough knowledge of development practices throughout all application tiers. This includes familiarity with both object-oriented and procedural languages, as well as extensive RDBMS, SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, Stored Procedures), ASP.net VB.net and C# knowledge. Broad knowledge of information technology, including but not limited to: on-line transaction processing, web development, middleware, rules engines, RDBMS, service-oriented architecture, network communication and information security Mature design and architecture skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design to others. Proven leadership capability and experience leading teams developing mid-size to large-scale initiatives Candidate should be a strong and diplomatic communicator with excellent verbal and written communications skills Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
