Job Title : Change Management Consultant
Location : New york city,NY
Duration : 6-12 months

- Must have working experience or keen interest in implementation of*
Serena Dimensions software configuration management, Release Mgmt,
Deployment Mgmt along with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must* be well versed with SCM basic concepts, including branching models,
code merging, builds and parallel development
- Must be fluent with one of* the SCM software, preferably Serena Dimension
- Must be very familiar* with build process, SDLC, build automation &
scripting, debugging the code, and merging changes from multiple branches.
- Must have some* scripting language experience (preferably Perl, UNIX), as
well as some cross-platform experience.
Should have good working knowledge of at* least 3 (or more) of following:

C/C++, VB, C#, ASP, VB.NET, Web Development, XML, SQLServer
Should be comfortable working on Microsoft Windows platform, and familiarity
with UNIX.
Ability to work effectively with* team members who are remote. Strong
communication and presentation skills. Ability to share information and
communicate clearly with other team members.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementation of change management, versioning management, build
management, release management and deployment management into Serena
Dimension utilizing industry best practices.
* This included setting up change request and defect templates, build,
release and deployment scripts across windows and UNIX operating systems
attend CCB meetings, design all the CM documentation including process
improvement plans, procedures and training materials.
* Able to Create, install, and maintain custom Dimensions Published Views
and reports.
* Provide complete administration and support on CM applications includes
Serena Version Manager, Serena TeamTrack/Business Mashups and Serena
Dimensions.
* The system administration included the installation, configuration and
auditing of CM applications and third party applications across
multi-platforms.
* Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on CM activities.
* Enhance SDLC and CM processes as required.
* Able to administer Korn shell scripting for build and database management.
* Able to migrate different application with different OS and db into
Dimension CM.
