Location: COLUMBUS, Ohio Duration:1 Year *Description* As a IT Project Group Manager, you will be extensively involved in participating in the design through implementation of several large-scale product implementations. This is a role where you will be responsible for completing a variety of highly visible medium to large scale projects, solving complex and difficult problems, facilitating the technical solution, and implementing the project within a specified time and budget. This position requires strong technology background, excellent client and project management skills, and experience in leading technology projects and cross-functional technology teams. Successful candidates must be action oriented, self-directed, resourceful, have solid interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to successfully manage/negotiate change. Candidates must also be able to come up to speed quickly and develop a broad and deep understanding of our technology platforms, services, and tools, especially on each project. Responsibilities will include: Directly manage multiple IT project teams (program management). These may be direct or matrix teams. Responsible for all technology components of the development and implementation of major/multiple/high complex enterprise wide projects. Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports. Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed. Exercises input to budget, policy formulation and planning. Set guidelines for appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs Oversees all technology components of diverse IT projects including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met Communicates with end-users and business sponsors to provide timely and accurate information and status updates Responsible for coaching/motivating staff Specific Skills BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. Senior to advanced level of experience in a IT project leadership role with commensurate experience in management. Should be an overall subject matter expert in IT Project Leadership. Technical background ( not necessarily hands on ) in development, databases, middle-wear and/or architecture strongly preferred. Experience in fund servicing required, alternative investments strongly preferred (middle to back office servicing).
