Storage capacity management, performance tuning, system dump analysis, security and the design of complex hardware configurations. Complete Description: Expertise is focused on installing, configuring and maintaining distributed AIX operating systems on IBM Pseries and RS/6000 hardware platforms. Breadth of technical skills span traditional programming and scripting languages and tools (C/C++, Korn Shell, sed, awk, Perl, etc) , relational databases (Oracle), distributed networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet) to cross platform interfaces, et al. Also requires typical system administration/programming skills such as storage capacity management, performance tuning, system dump analysis, server hardening (security) and the design of complex hardware configurations). Operating systems: AIX - Required - 5 Years Network communications: TCP/IP - Required - 5 Years Database: Oracle - Required - 5 Years Languages: C/C++ - Required - 5 Years Additional Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create and follow procedures, posses the ability to work unsupervised. Must have attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
