Familiarity with airline operations such as crew scheduling operations, dispatch operations, ground operations or maintenance business areas, systems and regulations a plus; will consider contract or direct hire with the right skills. Job Responsibilities & Expectations of Candidate Position is for a Team Member on the Crew Scheduling Solutions Team. This assignment will focus on Enhancement work for Several machine critical applications. As part of the Enhancement work will be analysis, requirements gathering, coding and testing. Individual is expected to perform full lifecycle systems development on medium to large sized development efforts. Team information The Crew Scheduling Solutions Team is comprised of 20 people reporting to one Manager. The Team currently has eight primary Customers; Flight Operations Crew Scheduling, Inflight Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, Payroll, Base Coordinators, Training and Administration, SWA Pilots and SWA Flight Attendants. The Team is responsible for Support, Enhancement and new development of the following application - Crew Scheduling System, Crew Web Access, CrewSolver and OCSI. As part of the new development is the delivery of the new Crew Scheduling System, which is a long-term development program that spans several departments within SWA Operations. The Crew Scheduling Solutions Program supports the delivery of a replacement to the SBS Maestro Crew Tracking System as well as the delivery of new products like Crew Web Access. Crew Web Access is a system that allows Crewmembers to access Crew Scheduling information via a web browser from any remote location. Future work includes the deliver of Inflight Bidding functionality to Crew, rewrite of Crew Scheduler GUI and a new Rules Engine.
